Crisis Management in an Era of Ever-Increasing Turmoil

Lead Through Crisis. Respond with Confidence.

Chaired by
Andy Cribbin

Overview

We live in a decade where we are seemingly propelled from crisis to crisis. The devastation of Covid, an ever-changing political world stage, war in Europe and beyond, have led to yet more austerity and financial challenges at work and home.

Our crisis management course gives you the skills, techniques and confidence to plan for and successfully navigate crises when they inevitably arise.

Can you mitigate and respond to the impact of significant events that are outside of your control? How do you look after your personal wellbeing and that of your team before, during and after the events? How do you make sound decisions at pace and document them to withstand future judicial scrutiny?

These critical questions and more are explored and answered using real world examples during a fully interactive course.

Andy Cribbin

Leadership coach and former
senior detective

Andy served as the Head of Major Crime for Lancashire Police, overseeing all homicide and major crime investigations. He retired as a Detective Superintendent in 2021 after 30 years distinguished service. As a seasoned Senior Investigating Officer, he led the police response to numerous complex and high-profile murder cases.

Since leaving the police, Andy has developed leadership training programs that emphasise decision-making, risk and threat management, effective communication, and collaborative working. Leveraging his extensive real-world experience, Andy shares the techniques and processes he employed as an effective leader, which are highly applicable across both the public and private sectors.

He regularly performs independent reviews for local authorities and companies, enabling current best practise and lessons learned to be threaded throughout the training sessions, maximising the learning outcomes.
