Turn your vision into results with confidence
Chaired by
David West
This course is available for teams and organisations.
We’ll tailor it to your goals and deliver it online, at your offices, or wherever works best.
Overview
In today’s fast‑moving public sector, having a strategy that looks good on paper is not enough. You need one that works in reality.
This course helps you and your team move beyond “what we want to do” to “how we will do it”. With expert trainer David West (Fellow CIPD), you’ll use real‑life public sector scenarios and interactive exercises to build a strategic roadmap that makes sense for your organisation.
What you and your team will learn:
How to spot and analyse trends, risks and opportunities so you’re prepared rather than reactive
How to map your internal strengths and your external environment clearly and effectively
How to bring stakeholders on board, align teams behind a shared vision and build momentum
How to turn strategy into purposeful action with a personalised plan you can implement straight away
Who should attend:
Heads of department, strategy leads and senior managers who want to bring sharper focus to their planning
Policy professionals and practitioners responsible for translating strategic goals into action
Learning and development leads looking to build their team’s strategic capability and make training count
What delegates say:
“This was exactly the step‑up my team needed. The tools we left with are now part of our strategic routine.”
“David’s approach was engaging and grounded in public sector realities. Our strategy session has more energy and direction now.”
Why book this for your team?
This course is ideal for teams who work together on strategy, policy, service design or organisational change. By attending together, you build a common language, sharpen shared thinking and leave with a plan that reflects your context and challenges.
