This course has now taken place.

In 2016 the government published its report Better Births: National Maternity Review, with recommendations to transform maternity care, to become safer; more personalised and provide better patient-centered care.

To improve the quality and delivery of maternity care, health leaders must develop effective tools and strategies to provide greater choices for women; make services more flexible and patient-centered and improve their approach to maternity safety.

On this Transforming Maternity Services in England course, led by Margaret Richardson, delegates will learn practical skills to excel at maternity care and develop a strategy to implement the recommendations of the National Maternity Review.

Delegates will gain a comprehensive understanding of the review proposals, learn from best practice case-studies on delivering outstanding maternity care and develop an effective strategy to implement safer and personalised services.
