There is pressure to harness this resource, whether to improve efficiency or increase transparency. When presented in the right way, data can be a powerful way to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external audiences.

This Effective Data Visualisation course gives you the necessary skills to visualise your data and to turn raw data into infographics, presentation slides, dashboards or reports that tell a clear story and drive the right actions.

About the Chair: Mark Wilcock
Mark is an independent consultant and trainer. He specialises in the analysis, visualisation and reporting of financial and economic data. He has worked for several clients including Credit Suisse, BNP Paribas, Nomura and Barclays. He has received Microsoft’s Most Valuable Professional (MVP) award for the last two years. He has a MA in Natural Sciences from Cambridge and an MBA from Imperial College, London. He is the organiser of London Business Analytics Group, a very popular community meetup group.

It has held over 50 free events in the last four years on subjects such as machine learning, data visualisation, ethics of big data, personalised medicine and climate change. Mark is a regular speaker at conferences on data science, machine learning and data visualisation. He has technical expertise in Microsoft’s Data Platform and Power BI.

A: Yes, a two-course hot buffet is served at lunch. Tea and coffee are served throughout the day.

Q: I have just registered for the course, when will I receive the joining instructions?

Q: I can no longer attend the course, can a colleague attend in my place?

Q: What is your cancellation policy?

A: Cancellations must be received in writing 30 working days before the date of the event and will be subject to a £195+VAT administration fee. Cancellations received after this time will be subject to the full delegate fee.

Q: Why haven’t I received the speaker’s presentation?
