Sue Bennett

Director of Student Careers and Skills, University of Warwick

Sue Bennett is the Director of Student Careers and Skills University of Warwick, and has vast experience in improving graduate employability and developing quality career services in higher education.

Sue Bennett has worked at the University of Warwick for 9 years, initially as Director of the Learning and Development Centre, and since May 2009 as Director of Student Careers and Skills. Prior to that, she had a varied career in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors.

During her role, Sue has successfully reshaped the LDC to fully integrate academic and non-academic learning and development providing a wide range of development opportunities for staff. In 2016, the University of Warwick was the third most targeted university by the UK’s top 100 graduate employers.

Sue is also the Vice President of the Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services, the professional body for careers and employability professionals working with higher education students and graduates and prospective entrants to higher education.
