EU Structural Funds Expert

Paula MacLachlan is an EU Structural Funds specialist, currently involved in running transnational ERDF programmes.

She has been UK Contact Point for 3 INTERREG programmes, covering all aspects of project development and implementation.  She has been involved in Programme set-up, and has run regular training workshops for bid-writers, new Project Managers and First Level Controllers (auditors).

She has a background in EU related consultancy work for local and regional government, universities and NGOs in project development, partnership management, evaluation and audit.

Prior to that she worked in local government on town twinning, European policy and EU Structural Funds.  Earlier in her career Paula has been a volunteer organiser, a conference interpreter, a youth centre manager and a teacher of English as a Foreign Language.
