Natalie began her HR career in 2007 working for Woolworths group and since then has worked for high profile organisations including ASOS.com and now works as an HR Consultant for AHR Consultants based in Warwickshire. She has many years of operational HR experience focussing on change management and employment relations, she will provide valuable insight into the challenges of the profession and demonstrate how to build a successful career despite the challenges faced by the profession.

Natalie is incredibly passionate about the profession and has a successful HR blog (www.natalieellishr.com) and is a finalist at the UK Blog Awards 2019 for her “HR acts of kindness” initiative. Additionally, she has written for and featured in People Management Magazine, the CIPD’s Power of One Campaign, is an ambassador for the CIPD’s Steps Ahead programme and was a finalist at the 2012 CIPD People Management Awards in the Michael Kelly Student of the Year category.

Natalie has faced many unique challenges through her career and has considered these situations as opportunities to continuously progress her career and her talk aims to inspire this year’s student conference by showing how HR can really make a difference.
