Morwenna Stewart

Report Writing Coach Manager, Care Quality Commission

Morwenna has worked for public and private sector organisations as writer, editor, coach and trainer. In the last seven years, she has trained and coached hundreds of people to improve their written and verbal communication skills in different formats – such as reports, briefings, presentations, blogs, web pages and video.

She has worked for organisations such as Ofsted, National Audit Office, British Medical Journal, Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, Logica and AXA.

Morwenna currently works for the Care Quality Commission, managing a team of coaches who teach and support teams to improve their writing skills. Her 20-year career has seen her primarily work as a writer and editor; for example, editing 100+ reports a year for a government select committee. However, in the last seven years she has become a proficient trainer and facilitator (face-to-face and online) and an affiliate coach. She is passionate about communication, clear language and lifelong learning for all.

Morwenna has worked with public and private sector organisations to help authors with:

  • effective emails
  • newsletters, bulletins and corporate communications
  • blogs and thought leadership pieces
  • technical, government and medical reports
  • marketing and conference materials
  • simple techniques for easier writing (such as using Word more effectively).
