Maxine Goddard

Attendance Officer, Bulmershe School, Reading

Maxine Goddard has an immense amount of experience during her 15 years as an Attendance Officer and Attendance Manager at the Bulmershe School in Reading. In this time she has often shared her experience co-delivering national training events for school attendance workshops. After her success in improving school attendance she moved into her school’s Inclusion Team where she now uses her talents in 1:1 mentoring, group work and workshops.

Maxine’s inclusion work continues to target pupils with poor attendance, and a recent initiative with a Year 7 girls’ group resulted in a 100% of the group improving their attendance. During her many years’ experience, Maxine has developed strong working relationships with pupils, staff and parents. She is passionate about improving pupil’s attitudes towards school attendance and encouraging all pupils to achieve the very best they can.
