Jack Taylor

Students' Union President, Newcastle University

Jack ran for election during his final year at university to obtain a one year full time paid sabbatical role as President of the Students’ Union by engaging the support of a vast network of connections to help run a successful campaign. His role consists of representing over 25,000 students to the University and the wider public. As Students’ Union President, Jack sits on numerous committees with huge responsibility and it is his role to advise and contribute to strategic decisions that will affect the students he represents. In addition, he is expected to contribute to the general operational direction of the Students’ Union and manage his own budgets in his role as a trustee of the charity.
