Geraldine Dufour

Géraldine Dufour

Head of Counselling, University of Cambridge
Past Chair, HUCS

Géraldine works at the University of Cambridge where she leads a team of counsellors, mental health advisors and a mindfulness practioner. She is also the past chair of HUCS.

In this role, she co-ordinates the HUCS mentoring and consultation scheme, advises on strategy on the BACP:UC Executive, sits as a member on a number of local and national committees related to student mental health and wellbeing.

Previously, she was the Counselling Service Manager at Birmingham City University, after having practised in agencies counselling drug and alcohol users, sexual abuse survivors and young people and worked as a lecturer in counselling.
