Dr Sarah Hayes is Academic Director for Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) and Programme Director for Aston’s PGDip and M.Ed., in the Centre for Learning Innovation and Professional Practice (CLIPP), Aston University, Birmingham.
Sarah is a Senior Lecturer and Principal Fellow of the HEA and has taught across Sociology, Education and Computing at Aston University and University of Worcester. Sarah recently co-edited a Special Issue for Knowledge Cultures: “Learning, Technologies, and Time in the Age of Global Neoliberal Capitalism” and also co-edited Innovative Teaching and Learning in Higher Education.
Sarah was commissioned by the UK Quality Assurance Agency to write a literature review on MOOCs and Quality, achieved a SEDA/Jisc Institutional Change Leader Award for student partnership and has published various articles through European Political Science, Open Review of Educational Research, Libri and Springer.
