Dr Harpreet S Sood is Associate Chief Clinical Information Officer at NHS England. He was a key contributor to the 2016 Wachter Review, as Senior Fellow to the Chair, and has over a decade of expertise in digital healthcare technology.
Harpreet trained as a clinical doctor at Kings College London and Imperial College Business School and practiced as an academic clinical trainee in East London. Following this, Harpreet completed a Masters in Public Health (MPH) at Harvard University with a focus on international health policy and he co-founded a digital health start-up in paediatric asthma adherence. Post MPH, Harpreet was a Deland Fellow at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston where he focused on diffusing innovation through complex organizations with the launch of the iHub, service redesign and researched the impact of health information technology on US healthcare.
