Debra Moore

Fellow, National Association for School Business Managers

Debra has 18 years of Business and Finance experience in schools, and she currently runs her own company providing support both interim and long term to schools.

She is a Specialist Leader in Education for Business and Finance. This role has also included Lead in Business for a Free Schools Project, aimed at bringing innovation and exciting new ideas to schools.

Debra’s work focuses in bringing a different perspective to a Senior Leadership Team, ensuring that resources are available to support each school and each child to be the best they can be.
Her experience includes nursery, infant, primary and secondary phases of education, in local authority schools, partnerships, federations, academies and multi-academy trusts.

Debra has also worked on projects that have included setting up back office services for a multi-academy trust, setting up finance systems and processes for a company providing leadership programmes to schools, working alongside School leaders setting up a teaching school and supporting academy conversions.

Debra has completed the Certificate in School Business Management, Diploma in School Business Management, Advanced Diploma in School Business Management and The School Business Director Programme.
