Dave Presky

Head of Computing and Specialist Leader of Education for Computing and E-Safety, York House School

Dave Presky is a Head of Computing and a Specialist Leader of Education for Computing and E-Safety working with Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1, 2 and 3. He was formerly the Computing teacher at Little Reddings Primary School (Bushey St. James Trust).

Little Reddings Primary School gained the prestigious ICT Mark Award being at the forefront of using information and communications technology and online safety.

His work focuses on partnership working with parents and families to safeguard children online both at home and at school.

Dave is committed to raising awareness of the risks associated with using the internet among vulnerable families and to support victims of online abuse.

During the previous academic year he wrote the ‘Finding the Balance’ research project, which sought to measure the educational and social impact of excessive screen time and sleep deprivation.
