Director of Student Services, King's College London

Chris is Director of Student Services at King’s College London. He is leading and developing multiple student focused services to deliver an outstanding student experience and improved student success.

Chris’s work aims at integrating academic and welfare services to join up the student journey, from before arrival to beyond graduation, with a budget of over £6 million and a team of over 100 staff working towards a shared and co-created vision.

Chris has previously worked as Head of Service Innovation and Student Governance at King’s College London. In this capacity he led two teams to deliver improved services and consistent standards across the student experience for 25,000 students at a leading Russell Group institution. The Service Innovation Team delivers support and leads projects that improve services to students across the College. The Student Conduct and Appeals Team handles complaints and appeals across 9 Schools.

He previousely worked as Head of Democracy and Governance at the National Union of Students, managing a team of 10 and developing quality and excellence in students’ unions through training, advice and guidance, enabling them to deliver change for their members.
