Angela Todd

Careers & Employability Coordinator, Sir Robert Pattinson Academy

Angela joined Sir Robert Pattinson Academy in 2005 coming from a financial services background to take up the position of Student Support Officer not only supporting students but also helping with the administration duties for the academy’s work experience programme.

Within 18 months Angela’s role at the academy changed direction and resulted in her taking on the role of coordinator for the academy’s careers and work experience programme. Angela fully embraced her new position helping the academy to achieve Career Mark at the same time as studying for a Level 4 Diploma in Careers Education through Nottingham Trent University which was swiftly followed by a Level 6 Advanced Diploma in Careers Education and Guidance through University of Derby.

Balancing the two sides of Angela’s role, Angela helped the academy achieve University of Warwick’s National Standard for Work Experience Award, submitted entries for and was successful in winning the Work Based Learning Alliance Partnership & Collaboration Award for three years in a row and more recently achieved accreditation for a Partnership Quality Award, the first school in Lincoln to receive this award.

Angela has been Chair of the Lincoln & Gainsborough work experience cluster group, working with Lincolnshire & Rutland Education Business Partnership to develop Lincoln & Gainsborough’s work experience programme. Angela has developed many close links with local businesses who offer their support to Sir Robert Pattinson Academy on a regular basis.

Angela is dedicated to ensuring students at the academy receive good quality careers education and guidance and are work ready enabling them to fulfil their potential and career aspirations.
