Development Manager, Domestic Abuse Housing Alliance

Aisha Sharif is Development Manager at Domestic Abuse Housing Alliance supporting Housing Providers to improve their response to domestic abuse. She transformed Viridian Housing’s response by implementing award-winning strategies that increased internal reporting by 300% and secured Viridian the U.K.’s first DAHA accreditation via self-assessment. She has delivered training to over 40 Housing Providers and Third sector specialist agencies nationally.

Aisha has spent her career supporting women and families around domestic abuse. She has led on coordinating and delivering support groups and implementing survivor led initiatives across the Capital and creating bespoke training.

Aisha has BSc. Sociology with Law (Hons) and MSc. Social Research Methodology and Sociology.
