Stewart is a Fire Officer whom is passionate about looking inside and outside the Fire and Rescue Service to form new ideas to increase public safety.
Joining Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service (HFRS) after studying in Nottingham 18 years ago, Stewart has been involved in all aspects of HFRS including Response, Prevention, Protection, Resilience and even HR!
He started studying Leadership at Portsmouth University and moved on to completing a Masters in Business Administration in 2015, with a particular interest in finance, innovation, and followership. Stewart has driven the formation of diverse projects such as Sprinklers, Community Resilience and a Business Start-up Unit. Currently, Stewart is Director for Blue Light Collaboration in Hampshire and means he spends his days in the shady world between Police, Ambulance and Fire. He is responsible for forming a collaborative programme which is further developing the already established joint working in Hampshire, under the scrutiny of a joint board.
